From a six-bed in Navan to a three-bed in Ratoath.

CO MEATH IS continuing to be a top choice when it comes to commuter counties. But it’s not just its proximity to Dublin city that makes it a great option. Affordability and larger homes with lots of privacy are just two more reasons why the county is popular with house hunters.

This week, we’ve found four large homes in Co Meath that are all under the €500,000 mark – from a detached six-bed in Navan to a three-bed terrace in Ratoath.

Six-bed, detached, Navan – €495,000

This roomy six-bedder at Commons Lane sits on .7 of a landscaped acre. Just outside the centre of town centre, it’s a great blend of rural and urban life without the hassle of being miles away from everything. Navan is 2.9km away while Dublin is less than an hour’s drive away.

Inside comprises an entrance hall, a living room, a kitchen, separate dining room, a bathroom, a utility room and storage closet on the ground floor, along with three bedrooms, including the master bedroom with ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. On the first floor, there are three additional bedrooms, including another bedroom with an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, and a storage closet. There’s also a stand alone garage that could be used as a workshop or office.
